INTERNATIONAL POLICYMAKERS JOIN INCLUSIVE SECURITY: WOMEN WAGING PEACE
in Considering New Approaches to Resolving World Conflicts

The Under-Secretary General of the United Nations, the UN High Commissioner for Refugees, and eight ambassadors, including the Pakistan and Indian Ambassadors to the U.S. will be among the participants featured at the closing session of the Third Annual Inclusive Security: Women Waging Peace Colloquium on November 16.

The Colloquium's Policy Day program will bring together more than 100 policymakers from the US and other governments, the United Nations, the diplomatic community, and non-governmental organizations (see partial list, attached). They will join the Colloquium's delegates-some 60 women peace builders-to discuss peace and security issues in the post-9/11 world. Inclusive Security: Women Waging Peace also will announce a new Policy Commission that will undertake an in-depth two-year study quantifying the impact of women on peace building.
